About Me
Hi, I’m Sujitha Ruban, the home cook, baker, and recipe developer behind Sujitha Easy Cooking.
I was born and raised in the beautiful southern part of India, where food is much more than a meal—it’s a way of bringing families together. My love for cooking began in my own kitchen, preparing everyday meals for my family, and over time it grew into a lifelong passion for baking and creating recipes.
Professionally, I hold a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, but my heart has always belonged to the kitchen. My passion eventually inspired me to pursue a Professional Pastry Chef qualification, allowing me to combine creativity with precision.
What started as a personal collection of handwritten recipes in notebooks soon became this blog—a place where I could preserve family recipes, share my cooking experiences, and help others cook with confidence.
Today, Sujitha Easy Cooking is dedicated to sharing simple, reliable, and delicious recipes that anyone can recreate at home.
Why This Blog?
Every recipe on this blog has a story.
Many of them come from my family’s treasured recipes, while others are inspired by friends, cookbooks, regional cuisines, and my own kitchen experiments. Before a recipe is published, it is cooked or baked multiple times to ensure it is easy to follow, well-tested, and delivers consistent results.
My goal is simple:
- Help beginners cook confidently.
- Share practical kitchen tips and techniques.
- Create recipes using easily available ingredients.
- Make home cooking enjoyable and stress-free.
Whether you’re preparing a quick weekday meal, a festive feast, or a special dessert, I hope you’ll find recipes that become favourites in your own home.
Why “Easy Cooking”?
People often think cooking is difficult.
I believe cooking is simply a combination of patience, love, and practice.
That’s why every recipe on this blog is written with detailed instructions, accurate measurements, helpful tips, and step-by-step photographs whenever possible. I want even first-time cooks to feel confident in the kitchen.
If I can make cooking easier for someone, then this blog has fulfilled its purpose.

Food Photography
Food photography has been a wonderful learning journey.
I started with a Canon PowerShot camera before moving on to a Canon DSLR. While photography wasn’t my strongest skill in the beginning, I’ve enjoyed learning how to capture food in a way that inspires others to cook.
Like cooking, photography is something I continue to improve with every recipe I share.
