Step by step instruction for flax seed idli podi(Powder)

1. Take the Flax seeds in a pan, Half cover the lid as shown in the picture, this is to avoid spluttering of the seeds, fry them in low- medium flame till they pop up.

 2. Once the flax seeds are done, transfer to a plate and set them aside to cool. In the same pan take garlic, hing in the pan and dry roast them and set aside to cool.

 3.  In the same pan add in the urad dhal, channa dhal, thuvar dhal  dry roast them until they turns to golden brown in colour set aside and allow them to cool.

 4. Dry roast the red chillies, once all the roasted ingredients are back to room temperature transfer them to a mixer and pulse and grind the podi to a coarse powder.
