How to make Varaguairisi Murukku
Festive season is all set to go.. here I’m with a healthy murkku.. Murkku/Chakkli popular indian Snack, so many varieties are there in murkku.. this one is similar to Arisi murkku..
There will no Occasion without these Special treat.. Already i share some murkku recipes in my page.. this is one special for me.. crispy crackers Love to munch on any time.. with a cup of hot Chai or coffee.. We start our festive occasion with healthy snacks..This is my 95th continuous post..
Ingredients
Varaguarisi | 1 cup |
Urad Dhal | 1/4 cup |
Jeera | 1 tsp |
Yeallu | 2 tsp |
Ghee/Butter | 1 tsp |
Hing | 1/2 tsp |
Salt | to taste |
Oil | 1/2 cup |
Method
Dry Roast the Varaguarisi in Medium Flame.. till you get the nice Aroma..
Bring this to room temperature..
Dry Roast the Urad dhal.. cool them and set aside..
Powder the Roasted vagaruarisi and urad dhal one by one..
Sieve them in Fine net..
Transfer this to the mixing bowl.. make sure you have taken the fine flour.
Add the Yeallu, Jeera, Salt and ghee/Butter to the mixing bowl..
Mix them well.. Slowly sprinkle some water and start knead the Dough..
Knead a soft, Non sticky dough..
Fill the mould, i used the star presser..
She them into murkku , i used backside of ladle..
Heat the oil in a pan..
Drop the murky one by one into the to oil..Dont flip them immediately, slowly flip them without breaking the murkku.
Fry till they turn, golden brown..
All done.
Store them in Air tight container..
