These kind of stir fried vegetable is a perfect combo with all kind of vegetable curry like dhal, smaller, puli kulmabu, the same preparation can done with all the vegetable.. don’t know how many of you like these kind of combination, we love to have this thooran with Hot rice without any curry.. This is my continuous 97th post.
Ingredients
Borad Beans/Avaraikaai | 200 gms |
Oil | 2 tsp |
Mustard | 1/2 tsp |
Uradh dhal | 1/2 tsp |
Channa Dhal | 1/2 tsp |
Onion | 1/2 cup chopped |
Curry Leaves | 1 spring |
Turmeric Powder | 1/4 tsp |
Salt | to taste |
Coconut | 1/2 cup |
Pearl Onion | 4-5 nos |
Garlic | 2-3 pods |
Jeera | 1 tsp |
Green chilli | 2-3 nos |
Curry Leaves | 1 spring(this is for grinding) |
Method
Take Coconut, Green chilly, Peral onion, Garlic, Jeera, Curry Leaves, Green chilly in a mixer and grind without adding any water.. just crush the Masala and set aside..
Wash and clean the Board beans, remove the string by cutting the head and tail of beans.. chop them evenly and set adie.. in the mean time, chop the onion too
Heat a pan with oil, Temper with mustard, urad dhal, channa dhal.. wait until they pop up..
Saute the onion and curry leaves..
Add in the Chopped beans, fry this for few mins..
Once the vegetable half cooked.. Sprinkle some salt, turmeric powder, and Grounded masala. mix this well, cover and cook the vegetable to stir fry..
