Brinjal Gothsu,  South Indian curry next to sambar this curry is the haven match with Idli, Dosai, Ven pongal. Tangy Spicy dhal is a slurping combo with Ven pongal.. Gothsu had so many variation, i love brinjal much, i add more brinjal in diet, brinjal is full of Folic acid, Iron Rich veggie..


Ladies Finger, Brinjal, French Beans, Carrots are the must added diet to kids.. this brinjal gothsu, is very easy to feed Kids. Preparation also very lite. South Indian breakfast are such a filling delicious recipes, along with Chutney, Sambar, gothsu is a delicious variety to serve the breakfast with lot of yum.

step by step instructions for Brinjal Gothsu

 Method

1. Wash and clean the moong dhal, Take this to the pressure cooker, wash and clean the brinjal and take this along with the dhal.

 2. Add in the chop the tomatoes, turmeric powder, hing/Perrungayam to the pressure cooker.. and pressure cooker this for 2-3 whistles..

 3. Heat a pan with oil, temper with mustard, saute the onions, green chillies, curry leaves, Hing/Perrungayam..

 4. Add the pressure cooked  dhal to the pan, add sambar powder, Chillie powder,tamarind water, salt and bring this to boil it for few mins, add in the chopped coriander leaves..and serve hot with Idli, Dosai..
