How to make Kadalai Kuruma

Step by step picture instruction for channa Kuruma

1. Soak the channa for 8 hours, pressure cook the channa dhal for 2-3 whistles ands set them aside. Heat a kadai with oil, temper with mustard, opnion. Sauté this for few mins.

 2. Take all the ingredients to grind, And grind it to a smooth paste..

 3. Add in the ginger garlic paste and curry leaves, Fry for few mins, Add in the green chillies and  chopped Tomatoes to it. Cook till the tomatoes turn mushy.

 4. Add in chillie powder, coriander powder, turmeric masala, garam masala, salt and sauté the masala for few mins. Cook till the raw smell goes away.

 5. Add in the boiled channa, mix them well and add the ground masala, simmer the curry for 8-10 mins, cook till the raw smell goes away.
